On the plane

I find my seat – right smack in the middle. I’m soon offered champagne and Le Figaro. I take the champagne, pass on Le Figaro – maybe for another time when I can actually read it.

On the screen at the front is a map with a tracking of the plane. We fly over Beaumont, Lake Charles (Crowley is not on the map) and take a left to head up to Opelousas. Lafayette is not on the map either, but New Iberia is. Go figure. It says outside temperature…. –40 degrees. That's MINUS 40 degrees. Arrivee 8:30 heurs.
